MAN IS IN CONTROL OF HIS OWN DESTINY
Did you know the Igbos had an ancient way of writing called Nsibidi or Nsibiri? It is a system of symbols indigenous to what is now southeastern Nigeria and was used on wall designs, calabashes, etc. My interest in this led me to delve deeper into learning more and my idea was born. A well-known proverb written in ancient Nsibidi text, “Onye Kwe Chi Ya Ekwe” translates to if a person agrees, their chi agrees as well. In most cases, "chi" means "God" or "god," but in the sense of the proverb in question, "Chi" refers to "fate." This proverb is a philosophy, not just a saying and it carries a deep meaning. The meaning is that one has to believe something in order for that thing to become a reality in his/her life. For example, if you believe that you will never become rich, this belief will make your fate act accordingly and you will never become rich. But if you believe that you will one day become rich, you will one day become rich. Who knew Igbos strongly believed in the Law of Attraction!
